Marilyn I did open up a few of the larger galls but didn't see any insects in them. When I got home from work today I found a few more and plucked them off straight to the garbage. I have a grouping of 7 azaleas and only the two smaller plants seem to have the galls. Gonna trim both the effected bushes and move them to a new location this weekend. Hoping the better air circulation around the plants helps them. I've removed and tossed all the mulch under them as well. Gonna just put straw down once they are transplanted.
