Other than that really fabulous photo showing very intense colour, I have to say that Sisyrinchium demissum doesn't look a whole lot different than other native blue Sisyrinchium species, and as dirtdorphins says, the flowers are probably a lot smaller than people would imagine from that photo. That said, this genus as a whole is really underused in the garden! It deserves much more attention! These are excellent, if subtle, little garden plants.
I love our native Sisyrinchium montanum and let it self-seed as it likes. I find it hard to photograph (I try and try but delete most photos of it) - I wish I had dirtdorphin's photography skills! Here's the best I've got of S. montanum in the garden, though these don't represent the best plants (nor do they capture the colour), which can be a beautiful, dense spray of wiry stems with small blue flowers:
