I have two Endless Summer Hydrangeas and they are wilting everyday. I planted them last summer. I am watering them regularly and they are facing east so no sun past 12 or so. I plan on moving them to a spot on the north side of my house, but it is total shade. Will they bloom without any direct sun? Also none of the old wood from last summer leafed out this spring, it regrew all new stems and leaves. Will they still keep wilting every day in the afternoon even if they are facing north? It has been 90 here every day for a week or so and humid. If they are going to wilt constantly and bloom rarely, and not like full shade, I am going to pitch them and choose something else for my north facing spot.
