Traits that contribute to my labeling a daylily a great performer here include the ability to increase well each year, no summer dormancy, and to bloom well and hold buds during high periods of extreme heat (100-106 degrees). Off the top of my head, in no particular order, some tetraploids that exhibit those traits for me are: H. 'Sweet Country Luvin', 'God Save The Queen', 'Lighter Than Air', 'Spacecoast Sea Shells', 'Big Red Wagon', 'Turn The Kaleidoscope', 'Dark Eyed Smile', 'Substance Of Fire', 'Boundless Beauty', 'Victorian Christmas', 'Tangerine Horses', and 'Wonders Never Cease'. Those are just a very few...most of what I grow do just as well, as I won't keep poor doers for long. And I certainly don't give any special treatment. They either perform or they are outta here.
