Well, My melons are just about 4 inches high right now! In Sept. if we don't get an early frost, I should be able to have a ripe one. Canteloupe are a bit larger, as I planted plants that were started. It must be nice to be able to garden in March and April, Up here we're still scraping frost off the car windows then
I start the tomato and pepper plants in April, but in the house!
