At one point I tried turning a Part Shade area into a Moon Garden. I was doing pretty good at first but now it looks like Knautia macedonica has taken over. I only have one Digitalis left and I think the Shasta Daisy need more sun than this bed gives them. I also have had no luck with Clematis Josephine in this bed. I kept accidentally cutting her vines and she doesn't seem to grow anymore. I am lucky to have a single vine going up the Trellis. All my gardens are in need of some sprucing up. The weedier plants have taken over and the plants I tend to like more have pretty much disappeared. I blame it on the fact that I had a baby in May 2012, and I wasn't able to any gardening that year. I wasn't able to do a whole lot last year 2013 either because my 1 year old was so high maintenance. (boy) I also have two daughters so I just had no time. He is quite a bit easier this year but I still can't spend the hours in the garden I need to.
This was it at it's best... I got rid of those Oxe Eye Daisies, they were way too messy looking and weedy) for my taste.
