A lot of adhesives get a bit too brittle to stay stuck through temperature changes.. The flashing compounds are often not adhesive enough or are about a tar base.. This is a Home Depot polyurethane... Good adhesive traits... Dries hard but is exceptionally elastic..and doesn't become brittle.. I started using it for flashing and noticed the nice dry feel later... And tried to remove it.. Pulling strongly on a blob that had dried... Now I use it on a lot of things.. Like this segmented planter from a bunch of solar lights I removed the bases from
