Hi, Bob, I have bidwillii. Planted it in the wrong spot and it attacks anyone who comes through our side gate. It dies back every winter, but manages to flop all over the walkway each spring. Used to be a tree before the last two freezes. I believe bidwillii is sterile. Hummingbirds are really attracted to it.
