About the rosette not growing any more. Most rosette has only a number of leaves it can produce. Unlike the hahnii group, which and produce many leaves and form 'stacking' most trifascitia can only produce 5. And most of the other species much less. Like the 'Bats' producing one at maturity. And all those in the guineensis family has only 3 leaves. I love the masonianas but being with guineensis has only 3 leaves.
