Probably so, Cindy. It's been a while since we had a really wet spring. That's why I said consistent and timely watering, of course we have not a bit of control over the rain. Something similar happens with my River Birch tree, we get a lot of rain over several days and the limbs drag the ground. Irises, same thing. I use those tall green stakes that have a horizontal loop at the top when I need them for daylilies or any of the floppies.
