Yes! Welcome to ATP! Colocasias are water hogs ... I don't think it's possible to over water them and in the wild, the giant strains are almost always next to a source of water. With my Thai Giant which is in a large pot, if I give it at least 4 -5 gallons of water daily and feed it once a week it grows pretty fast.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
