I LOVE toad lilies. I am fascinated by them - so exotic looking. I have had two varieties that have done very well for me for several years. They will form colonies if happy. One is tricyrtis latifolia; that is yellow and blooms in June. The other is a cultivar of tricyrtis hirta called Blue Wonder. If you do an internet search, there is a very interesting story behind the term "toad lilies" involving Ferdinand Marcos....
