The plant is Tricolor Stromanthe.

I grow all my plants in a soil that my local nursery sells called Black Gold. I use a mixture of epsom salt, beer, molasses that I put a tablespoon of that in a gallon of water.

I am not suggesting anyone do this but it has worked for me for so many years it is just what I do. I am sure people water their plants and would have a lot of dead plants. I just do not water as I said in the winter they get a sip in the summer I just turn them and drain the water.

I put this in this pot when it was a little 1.00 plant. I finally had to break the pot to get it out.
