My garden is starting to come together and it's so satisfying! I don't feel I really have pictures to share yet that show what progress there is, beyond the ones I put in the chat and photos thread, but it's at a point where nothing feels totally neglected and all areas have been improved and have things going on....

I planted two more thyme groundcover plugs today, this is Thymus praecox (Pink Chintz) and for some reason this one garden center has had a lot of that so I keep picking up one or two when I'm there. I also planted out the sempervivums I got on sale. Hope they do okay! One cluster I overwatered pretty badly trying to wash off the coarse potting medium I'd spilled all over the rosettes. Sad But I think it will be okay. That little tubular one, and some of the variety it was with, I planted in a terra cotta pot, to let them get bigger before I put them in the ground. If I do.

Moved another coneflower. Put some little stakes around a few of the more vulnerable new daylilies (I used those Satay skewers from the grocery store -- got that idea from one of the posted Ideas here, forget whose it was.) Those skewers do come in handy!

The rose is doing okay I think.

My mind is full of visions of next year.

Rolling my eyes.
