My picture isn't the best quality (and apparently having the flash on was the only way to make it look somewhat nice), but this is how I display my houseplants. Having limited space and learning how plants react to being further away from the window (despite being a Southeast window, it acts more like an East window than a South window), this is where they seem most happy. I do have a few in the windowsill, but you can only really see one of two 'Spider Plants' and my Sansevieria. I am also attempting to root a ZZ Plant leaf and a ZZ Plant stem cutting (which are also in the window).
