I have had my soil mix tested but of course, all mine are in pots which presents a few problems of being root bound, as Veronica said and having salts build up in the soil from all the fertilizing brugs demand, and of course the soil breaks down and has to be monitored.
I may go a bit in Fred's direction and do a time release on some of mine and see how they do. Would save some effort that goes into weekly mixing and applying of fertilizer.
Inspiration has bloomed a nice 20- blossom flush, and is doing really well in the heat. Adorable small pale pink blossoms that hint toward blue-ish tones, and this one loves the heat.
