Veronica, we had that same jetstream coming down from Canada, or perhaps the Arctic, here at the same time. It was close and some folks did get a nip. And it snowed in the Smokeys- very, very early!

Doris, hoping your brugs blooms before the frost comes. Do you have a sunny sheltered area near you home to set the ones with buds nearby, to extend your season I keep mine on my sunny porch and drag them inside a few feet into the sunroom if frost threatens, then out again in warmer weather, til the real cold sets in. Prolongs the season a bit!

Anita, I always have some brugs blooming inside. They don't set any more buds inside but the ones set on the plants as I bring them in will ususally bloom, sometimes into December. Great to have that fragrance greet me when I walk into my basement!
