Yup, maybe 20 years old had to chop off a few stems so my succulents get more sunshine. Red palms need lots of water, they can't tolerate drought especially when young. They can tolerate standing water though, they naturally occur in tropical swamps.
They used to be quite rare and expensive 20-30 years ago, now they are everywhere.
