If I didn't shuffle these plants around twice per year (going in the ground in spring, back into pots for winter,) I could keep track of how old a rosette is when it blooms...

Noticed this this morning. The light color of the leaves indicate it's one of this years' pups that is forming this bloom stalk. While inside over winter, the leaves turn darker, none are this bright still by spring. This plant was in the ground (since April) until about 3-4 weeks ago, then dug up to go in a pot to come inside to escape winter. Definitely not bound in any way.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
