I love the way your garden is designed and planted. The lasagna method is a great way to achieve this. Instead of digging, you learn to raid dumpsters for cardboard! Or, I have asked the local hardware stores who sell refigierators for dibbs on the cardboard containers their refrigerators come in. I shred junk mail and put it under the cardboard. I am always short on mulch though. Im looking for tree cutters with a chipper. I did find a ready source of stepping stones--I found a dump of cracked up concrete. The pieces are just right for making a rustic path--and handling the concrete pieces gives you a total body work out besides!
