I call the front of the house "deer territory". I live across the road from a large open meadow. So, I only plant deer resistant plants out there. The deer were so hungry this year that they ate all of the plants that they normally don't touch. This year with the drought, there were a lot more deer in town than usual and with my neighbor allowing his lawn to die, I got all of his deer and then some ... Hilarious!

Unfortunately, I did see a lot of starving deer and now I am reading about people finding a lot of dead deer on their properties. I think Mother Nature is culling the herd.
