It looks nice for around rockery. I wonder how they did this... maybe isolate the whole seed parent plant for pollination. I know with lilies and wide crosses the seed embryo must be collected and grown on in culture media. Can't imagine collecting Sedum seed embryos (or Orostachys embryos). Well the article doesn't say which is the seed parent. It may work one way and not the other.
