I've been using large food containers from things like pickles, and other foods. I buy things in large quantity at Costco and often packed in large plastic containers. Figuring one reuse as a planter should be okay. Have been good for radishes and other small plants. Sometimes I have to cut off the top if it's narrow, so access to the bottom is opened up. I use a magic marker and write the plant name and date right on the container.
