Lol .. I have the 'just can't say no' terminal seed virus. My first foray into winter sowing was like yours .. I was so skeptical I over planted and everything sprouted and then some and I was overwhelmed .. needless to say everyone in the neighborhood had Sweet Cream Marigolds that year along with a lot of other annuals.

I just start mine in a south facing window on heating pads - once they germinate and get their first set of true leaves I wean them off the heat and they go into the greenhouse.
