My Clivia is surprisingly enduring our cold spells quite well. I guess the protection of the alcove is sufficient for it and I have kept it dry, not watering at all. I was a bit worried while I was away if it will survive since we got freeze warnings after Christmas. But temps are doing better now, still cold start at 37 to 39F but we warm up to high 50's to mid 60's.
