I've just discovered this thread. I've always loved Sansevieria, I had quite a collection when I lived in Maine and now that I'm back in the UK I have a fair few plants. My favourite at the moment is (I think) S pearsonii which had been on the windowsill in my office for a few years - it's been knocked off by a colleague and lost compost, so I brought it home a few weeks ago to repot it. It's now about to flower and has 2 new offsets showing. I'm particularly thrilled as I grew it from a single leaf cutting.
