My sideyard grounds are paved so mostly plants are in containers. Then we get too hot in summer and we get strong winds here from time to time. I have considered putting by the northside in the shadiest part, but the leaf span of this plant is too wide. The only other location will be back to our front door area..but it does block the way a bit. I only put it there in Dec to get some nice cool down.
