With our acidic soils down here, raising the pH a little bit is the last thing we have to worry about. If your soil leans alkaline then you might have a concern.

I'm glad you liked me use of offta. I am from Wisconsin, after all, and we had Norwegian neighbors in one neighborhood we lived in. They all said oofta and the phrase stuck with me!
