Mary I've done it with leaf slices as well as stem cuttings from the shrub types as well as the semperflorens. With the leaf slices you have to be very careful to keep the water level even. I've had great success with leaf slices on my Waterlily Begonia ( Begonia nelumbiifolia) which is Rhizomatous.
God gave us wings. He just called them horses
