Two years ago, I bought a tiny Christmas Cactus from the clearance table at Lowe's for 25 cents. It is now a beautiful medium sized plant and bloomed this past Christmas for the first time. It has lovely peach colored blooms. I know that some of these plants have red blooms, but what other colors are available? I'd love to trade cuttings with others who might have different colors! Also, I was told that cuttings can be rooted in water and my friend had success with this. Is this the best way?
