I saw that and put a couple more pics of a mystery roadside Prunus. What kind of 'fruit' has planted itself there? I'll be watching what develops later. Hoping to catch the flowers in full bloom on 3/16, when I will be in that area again.

I was thinking about Prunus while I was falling asleep last night and wondered if the phrase 'stone fruit' is used to refer to any fruit but those of Prunus?
