I can offer a comment concerning the species fern leafs. Most people tend to kill their flowers with too much kindness. The fern leafs generally came from a harsh environment and do not like a lot of tlc. Lightly fertilize, water sparingly, and give them well-drained soil, preferably mixed with coarse sand or fine pea gravel. Full sun is mandatory. I will have some pictures of my species fernies hopefully this Spring.
