Hi Jeanne. If you transplant them before they bloom, then they likely won't bloom at all this year -- or at least very poorly. Give them at least a month after bloom-time, then dig them up, trim leaves into a fan shape, and replant. Giving them some time after bloom allows the rhizomes to store up energy after blooming, and for baby rhizomes to form along the mother rhizome. Smiling
