Well, well. I was getting ready to re-use the containers I had tried my canary seeds in and in digging in the soil to loosen it, I found ONE sprouted seed! Don't know if it will survive after being so rudely disturbed, but it was from the batch that I scratched the seed on sandpaper, then soaked for 24 hours with a bit of H2O2. I reseated it and watered with some warm water and tucked it into a heated flat. We shall see!
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
