My first week in FL last Oct, walking thru Lowes, I snagged a Lantana in full bloom ... since then I've read they can be invasive.

Bonnie -- My DH wont let me put out seeds [ I have many feeders in WI] because of the rats. I back up to a "naturalized" area... so I have a lot of birds.

I have many 40+ Scarlet Milkweed seeds that have germinated, so I'll have plenty of those. I have seeds for the "common" MW A. syriaca
though I think they need cold strat.... I'll have to look more into that.. but maybe I'll just toss some seeds and by the time I get back in Sept, they will have germinated.

have to say... the pool is calling me today. Think I'm going to be lazy.

My Caladiums from Bill are coming this week along with the shepherd hooks I had to order.
so the end of the week may be busier. OH got my rain barrel set up -- well DH did. I need to plant the verbena i the top planter.
