Thanks Tami for the future offering and I'll keep that in mind but I think I could find a local stand of goldenrod to harvest from in the fall if I can not find seeds for planting this season. I did have one goldenrod on my property last fall but didn't think to harvest it at the time. The drying in paper bags method is what I do on most flowers and grasses but many years that fails because by the time the plant is in seed and ready to harvest the fall rains have set in and soaked the plants making them mold in the bags.
