The high will be 55 with rain today. I am not complaining as we are not having extreme weather conditions like some others of you are. I will not get much done in the iris garden but I stayed out most of yesterday so it is easier to be indoors today. My irises, with the exception of two so far, are looking very healthy. The bees are working the plum tree blossoms, the flowering quince, forsythia, flowering almond and all the little blooming weeds I have not pulled yet. The daffodils and late crocus are putting on a great show and I have a tiny little purple iris that I got from and ATP member that is almost ready to open. I have not checked out the local or world news in over a week so I will have to say..... life is good.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
