The only one that already is a total loss so far is Strawberry Shake. I lost it last year, and this is my second try. The other one that I will most likely lose is Patchwork Puzzle. The main rhizome is soft and dead, but there's one tiny pea sized increase, we'll see if it lives. It will take two more years for that to get large enough to bloom. Think I'll probably replace it. A few of the seedlings from last year don't look too hot, but it's too early to tell yet. The beds near the house in the micro climate are starting to show some growth. No signs of rot there at all yet, but we haven't started our wet season yet. Those farther out have not put on any growth yet. The two that I planted really late last year look to be alive, but I don't expect them to bloom this year. That being said, I have only gone through 3 1/2 beds, I still have 9 1/2 to got through yet. Things may change.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
