We do pretty much the same Rob.. although we were able to keep most of the lawn limping along last year.. This year, I think we're going to have to let them go.. We've got a lot of lawn.. Last year I only watered the younger trees in the orchard once during the summer. We have been able to draw water from the little creek next to the house, but it's barely flowing already this year. The well could keep up with household needs last year, but we've got tenants in the cottage now who are home most of the time (they're Iris people too!)... Ayway, we can only hope for unseasonal rain at this point... It's already dry and dusty out there....
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
