Actually I would love to live in Northern Florida. I have spent many weeks in mid southern Florida (in the Tampa and Ocala area) in the summers. I didn't find it that bad. Hot yes but heck it was summer. But it was many years ago and maybe now that I am older the heat would bother me more.

You got a deal!!!!! I wouldn't want to trade forever either. I think a month would sound fine. Yes, I think you would find Tampa & Ocala a bit too warm for your taste now --- I know I do. Age, you know.

It's really humid in Tampa - REALLY humid. I never lived in Ocala so can't really say about there as far as humidity.
