Carolyn and Stormy - Just wondering what the fungus looks like? Dry brown spots or wet looking ones - if that makes sense? I have some brown spots on mine now that have developed but they are dry looking ones. One's on Sparkling Burgundy that I pulled out of a different bed that I have in a single pot that's sitting waiting to be planted elsewhere. I thought it was odd but I put it in full sun as that seems to help it stay purple and thought it was sun burn.

Also, I talked about a problem with some of my others that I suspect may be fungal related on the "Post your Pictures". As soon as I find my camera that I misplaced after Father's Day, I'll post them. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give them a dose of fungicide anyway just in case.

As a side note, I bought "Mars" from a nursery last year up in Hayward, WI. It too is awaiting a home in the ground and one day I picked up the pot to move it and I found 2 weevils hanging onto each other (oh horrors, maybe they were mating????) along the top edge of the pot. I quickly smashed the little buggars. I think it'd be a good idea to throw out the soil and rinse it off good prior to planting. I though, "Oh just great just what I need, just when I think I've got THAT problem under control"!! Apparently that's how we get these pests!
