I have not noticed that one Neal. My pink was planted about 30 years ago and was one of the first pinks most people had seen actually growing in this area. I will look at Pink Silk.

I planted a short row of six fat daffodil bulbs about eight years ago. They are doubles white/yellow. They have made a good clump but the problem is that they put up a lot of buds and show color but then the bud turns brown before it opens. This bed is on a down slope and has more soil washed over it than when I planted them. Would being planted to deeply cause this? I have both made sure they had supplemental water in some years and just left them to their own devices in other years. That did not make an impact on their behavior. Any thoughts on this?
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
