We took a field trip to ascertain wildflower activity in an area that in year's past in late March was a real hub for wilds - trillium, bluebells, trout lilies, claytonia, and the like. The area borders the South Fork of the Sangamon River.
Appears this area is just waking up, most were in the emergence stage.
