Redbuds are easily grown from seed, to the point where they could almost be described as weedy. Smiling

If the pods have been outside all winter, you'll probably get decent germination simply by removing the seeds and planting them in a pot (or in the ground). You can, however, improve the germination rate by rubbing the seeds between two sheets of coarse grit sandpaper for a few seconds before you plant them.
