Not the first blooming of the plant, but my first time reblooming it. It is not deciduous, but the older leaves do eventually drop off the old canes. The blooms are on new mature canes rather than the old canes. Very similar to many Cattleyas. This one gets filtered sun on the East side of the GH but sheltered by the wet wall. The leaves are quite thin and sensitive to sunburn.
