Sophia has sensitive skin issues, so I've been getting salmon and sweet potato food with no grains for her. It's more costly than I can truly afford, but the stories of people losing pets because of contaminated food make it worth the peace of mind. She loves the food, and the omega 3s seem to relieve her itchy dry skin. Thankfully I've found the Costco brand with the same ingredients as Blue brand, that is much more affordable.

I agree about the peace of mind. And really, grain free foods are much better for our animals be they cats or dogs. I feed pretty much the same foods as Rita but I also have a small dog.
Neal, you can try putting a 1/4 tsp of coconut oil in her food once a day -- that is added Omega for her. My dog has "allergy" skin too & adding the coconut oil made a difference. Also, I began bathing her with this:

It has made a tremendous difference!!!!! I get an empty bottle & almost fill it with water & then squirt some of the shampoo in there to make the solution diluted and it still works great plus that stretches the shampoo dollar.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
