Thanks for posting Dana and thanks for adding the location. That is most helpful. You could certainly use a well-draining yet moisture retentive garden soil. I am almost opposite here in Mississippi. Wet winters with an average yearly rainfall of 70 inches. Our relative humidity seldom gets below 50%.
