Frilly ... I do see Hosta for sale at garden centers here all the time but I think folks must buy them and treat them as annuals; I've read that they need a winter rest period which we don't get much of here in this part of the state. I do have one DL in a container that goes dormant but I think the best for my area are the evergreen or semi-evergreen type.
