JB: Wow, that is gorgeous! I'd never even heard of the African Gardina so I googled to read more. I found it's also called by another common name of Dwarf Loquat and the photo that showed the fruit looked a bit like little loquats.

I wonder if it's a difficult one to propagate, have you ever tried rooting cuttings? I might have to order one from Logees; they offer a 2.5" pot for $12.95 which seems reasonable compared to another other on-line place that sells it for $25.00 for a 2.5" pot! I bet your plant will enjoy being outside for the summer if you have a shady spot in your garden.
