Plopped some fresh compost in a spare sunny patch of dirt and planted a buttercup winter squash seedling in it, with its very own handmade trellis to vertically garden when it starts vining. Also doled out some of that compost to four tomato plants that already have flowers. And hand watered, because there has been NO rain all month so far. And brushed the dog, who is shedding. That is a garden chore because the shed fur is placed strategically to deter bunnies. Tomorrow I need to get some strings up for the pole beans to climb.
